Google is currently making a software which can distinguish various objects from each other and even name them.
Google isn't unfamiliar with artificial intelligence as their DeepMind project could best the best Go player in the world. They are working together with a French firm called Moodstocks. Google recognized that Moodstocks' current project could fold in well with their efforts. This software could be useful for a handful of things such as checking a car's price without looking it up or checking what brand of shoe the other wears.
This feature sounds just as useful as scary as it could be used for breaching someone's privacy.
