Choosing The Right Sound System

By Kun Attila - January 23, 2018 - tags: technology

Most people want a great sound in their homes. Usually they don’t have the money to spend on it, because they spend it on other things like smartphones, TVs and household appliances, etc.

This will be a short guide for you to choose which speaker-systems should you buy.

If you want to have a portable, lightweight, and cheap speakers, choose the bluetooth mono or stereo speakers (brands like JBL or Sony).

If you want clear sounding speakers, choose the 2.0 (stereo) systems. Most popular brands are Genius, Logitech, but on the more expensive side you can find brands like Microlab, Audioengine.

Genius SP-HF 1250BSONY XB10

2.1 systems are for people who don’t want Dolby Surround in the room but want lots of bass, and more separated sound. (2 tweeters + 1 bass) For parties they’re enough most of the times.(But not the cheap ones)

Genius SW-G2.1 1250Logitech Z623

If you want astonishing home theatre experience, you should buy a 5.1 (or 7.1) system. This system has 5 speakers (2 front, 2 back, 1 center) and a bass box. In this case, it matters where you should put your speakers in your room, there is a good tutorial about it: [link]

(Speakers are illustrations to show the price range of these systems.)

I hope I helped a bit with this tutorial, if you have any problems, just leave a comment.

(I chose this topic because I am interested in speaker systems.)
